Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were aware that there was never a second chance once they were married in the Hamburg church. Ashley Hudson was 17 and had not had a girlfriend previously, so they took their time. The two fell in love instantly. Andrew wanted to ask God during New Year's Day just as the year was beginning to get underway, that God would be gracious to him in by blessing him with one last thing in this year...that Ashley say yes to Andrew and get married to him. Ashley set out to make the perfect wedding that had a rustic woodland theme. This was a true representation of her as well as Andrew. The big day was the reason why they put together a lot of their favourite things. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of land Ashley has grown up on. From the trail they walked through the field to where the couple said I do in Ashley was a keen observer and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley have also explored in this spot several times since when they first started dating. The bride and groom did all of the DIY-related work making personalization a priority. Andrew's dad and Ashley as well as Ashley made both the ceremony arch and the the seating arch. Ashley made and painted most of the wedding decoration.
